The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.
– Albert Einstein
Every time I teach, I am inspired and honored by the questions I get! One good question is said to be worth all the study in the world. This page is dedicated to offering you the best answers I can provide to the questions that inspire you…
From Fundamentals of Emotional Freedom Workshop: “Can pain ever be good?”
Pain, whether physical, psychological or emotional, is governed by the energetic connection we have to the sixth chakra, or third eye area of body. Although the perception of pain can be gruesome, the presence of it heralds one thing: insight. Insight that is knocking at the door of your consciousness just begging to be born. It is always rich territory when faced with pain to investigate the places where resistance lies. This is between you and YOU, and honest evaluation is needed. The birth of new ways of being brings growth and change that can only be good for you.
From Meditation Class: “I can’t meditate because I can’t control my mind. Is that normal?”
The process of meditation is a practice. We practice because it is normal for the mind to do busywork and wander. The only stop in the question above is the conversation around “I CAN’T.” Put yourself to the practice just a few minutes a day and you will slowly but surely gain the peace of mind you seek.
From Yokibics Mindbody Fitness Training: “I’ve never been fit. Am I doing this right?”
Any kind of mindbody fitness is a process of becoming conscious of living in your body – moving your body – caring for your body – and loving where you live. You are doing it right if this is your goal. The rest comes with practice.
